Andy Burnham: PM has 'opened can of worms' on tax

Shadow Health Secretary Andy Burnham has said that politicians should tread carefully before commenting on an individual's tax affairs and that Prime Minister David Cameron "has opened a can of worms" by labelling the comedian Jimmy Carr "morally wrong" over his tax arrangements.

Carr attracted widespread criticism after it was reported he was a member of the K2 tax avoidance scheme based in Jersey, but Carr has since apologised and said he is no longer involved in the scheme.
