Oakeshott: Lib Dems should "push for mansion tax"

A senior Liberal Democrat has welcomed Nick Clegg's suggestion that the wealthiest people should be asked to pay more tax for a limited period.

Lord Oakeshott, the former Lib Dem treasury spokesman, told BBC's Newsnight that a mansion tax would be a good idea.
