Work and training employment plans needed says author
One solution to unemployment is "real work and real training" said the social entrepreneur and author Colin Crooks, who gave his views on how to get everyone, not just young people, back to work.
He argued that more needs to be done to get what he called the "lost generation" back to work.
He claimed that without these older people working, younger people would not have the role models they needed to encourage them into employment.
Mr Crooks will be a guest on Wednesday's Daily Politics around 1240 BST along with two MPs to debate his film. The programme runs on BBC2 from 1130-1300.
