PMQs: Cameron and Miliband on Europe and EU budget

The prime minister accused the Labour leader of "playing politics and not serving the country" as they clashed on the UK position over EU budget talks.

But Ed Miliband reminded David Cameron of a previous call for a "real-terms cut" while he was in opposition, and accused of him of being a "gold medallist" when it came to opportunism.

He said of the PM's position: "It's John Major all over again".

Mr Cameron said Labour MEPs voted against a budget freeze and European socialists were calling for a budget increase of 200bn euro and to cancel the British rebate.
