Energy Secretary denies any change in wind farm policy

There has been no change in the government's policy on renewable energy, according to the Lib Dem Energy Secretary Ed Davey.

It comes after Tory Energy Minister John Hayes sparked a coalition row by claiming the UK had "enough" onshore wind farms.

Mr Hayes told the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph the UK was "peppered" with wind farms and "enough is enough".

However, Mr Davey told reporters that he remained committed to renewable, clean and home-grown energy.
