Cameron: 'An opportunity for better deal for Britain in Europe'
UK Prime Minister David Cameron is attending a meeting of European leaders focusing on the Eurozone banking system.
They are expected to approve a deal reached overnight by finance ministers, to create a new banking supervision union.
Under the plan, the European Central Bank would supervise around 200 of the Eurozone's biggest banks, to try to prevent them failing and triggering another economic crisis.
Mr Cameron said it presented "an opportunity for a better deal for Britain".
