Labour in jobs pledge for long-term unemployed
Labour has pledged to guarantee a job for the long-term unemployed if the party returns to power at the next general election.
Shadow chancellor Ed Balls says the £1bn cost of the scheme could be met by restricting tax relief on pensions for those earning over £150,000 a year.
But the Treasury says Labour is trying to spend the same money twice.
