William Hague: Algeria crisis is 'extremely dangerous'

Two foreigners, one of them British, have been killed and more taken hostage in an attack by Islamist militants on a gas facility in Algeria.

At least 20 foreigners - including US, French, British, Norwegian and Japanese citizens - are being held.

Foreign Secretary William Hague said it was ''a very dangerous situation'' and the UK government would ''work around the clock'' to resolve the crisis.
