Tony Blair interview in full from The Andrew Marr Show

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair has said current PM David Cameron has made many "right" decisions in the handling of rebellion in Mali and civil conflict in Syria.

Speaking to Sian Williams on the BBC's Andrew Marr Show, Blair said the problems in North Africa and the Middle East were part of a "generational struggle", but added he would not "second guess" the prime minister on whether to deploy troops on the ground.

Having been head of government for a decade during which he "relished the fight" over European Union membership, Blair agreed with "90%" of Cameron's recent comments on Europe but warned an 'in-out' referendum could pitch the UK against 26 other EU members.
