Gay marriage issue divisive among Conservatives

The issue of same sex marriage has revealed deep divisions within the Conservative party, as well as proving controversial at grass roots level.

MPs are debating the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill and will vote later on Tuesday.

A number of Conservative MPs are expected to vote against the plans.
