"Price to pay" to fix deficit

Former Lib Dem leader Lord Ashdown has said everyone has a "price to pay" as the government tries to lower the deficit.

Speaking to Susannah Reid on the Andrew Marr Show, the Lib Dem peer declined to advise MPs whether they should vote for Labour's "mansion tax" proposals, a long standing Liberal Democrat commitment.
