Budget 2013: Robinson, Flanders and Peston on Osborne speech

The BBC's political editor Nick Robinson said the chancellor had to admit he was "way off course economically" in his Budget speech with some of his previously-announced figures.

Economic editor Stephanie Flanders said: "We broadly got what we were expecting" over borrowing figures, with a slight rise coming in the next year, which will "muddy the waters for him".

And business editor Robert Peston spoke of a "path-breaking" new approach to get Britain building new homes, but the Budget was "almost a complete non-event" when it came changes on government spending.
