Scottish independence: Salmond wants Cameron, not Darling, TV debate

Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond said he wanted any televised debate over the independence of Scotland to be with UK Prime Minister David Cameron.

Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show, Mr Salmond said he believed he should debate economic growth and the revenues from North Sea gas and oil with Mr Cameron and not with former-chancellor Alistair Darling, who is leading the pro-union Better Together campaign.
