Nick Clegg praises character of Margaret Thatcher
Nick Clegg has paid tribute to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, describing her as "one of the defining figures of modern British politics".
Baroness Thatcher, the UK's first female prime minister, died on Monday at the age of 87 following a stroke.
The leader of the Liberal Democrats added: "I think everyone will be united today in acknowledging the strength of her character and the radicalism of her politics."
