National minimum wage to rise 12p per hour
The Government has announced that the minimum wage for adults will increase by 12p from £6.19 to £6.31.
The rate for 18 to 20-year-olds will rise by 5p to £5.03.
The announcement was made by the Business Secretary Vince Cable.
