Cameron: Funeral 'very fitting for someone who made such an impact'
David Cameron has paid tribute to Baroness Thatcher and defended the scale of her funeral.
Speaking ahead of the service, the prime minister described her as "an extraordinary woman" and said it would be "odd" to not commemorate her life in a significant way.
More than 2,300 guests from 170 countries have been invited to Wednesday's service at St Paul's Cathedral.
