Julian Huppert MP complains of Commons 'bullying'
Liberal Democrat Cambridge MP Julian Huppert has told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire that some of the groans that greet him as he rises to his feet in the Commons amount to bullying.
Parliament's official record, Hansard, notes MPs' response to Mr Huppert during prime minister's questions on 13 February was "oh no.''
MPs were reprimanded by Commons Speaker John Bercow, who said ''it is very discourteous of the House to issue a collective groan.''
"I think some of it is very much bullying," Mr Huppert told the BBC.
