Clegg: Tax 'debate is changing'

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has said "public sentiment" will form an important part of the reform and application of tax regulation.

Speaking on The Andrew Marr Show ahead of the G8 summit, which will address the issue of international tax avoidance, Clegg questioned whether "aggressive" tax avoidance was within the "spirit" of the law, saying the coalition Government would look to introduce a "general anti-abuse rule".
