Deputy Speaker Nigel Evens: 'I refute all allegations'
Commons Deputy Speaker Nigel Evans says he continues "to refute all allegations" after he was arrested on suspicion of three further offences of indecent assault by Lancashire Police.
The 55-year-old answered bail following his arrest in May on suspicion of rape and sexual assault, and was told that he faced the additional allegations.
As he left the police station he thanked those who had supported him.
"I'm extremely grateful to the huge amount of support and love that I've received from my family, my friends and my constituents and indeed people throughout the country who have contacted me," he said.
