Syria debate: MPs must ask the right questions' - John Redwood

Ministers must question if there is any military intervention the government could undertake which would make the situation in Syria better, not worse, a Conservative minister has said.

John Redmond raised the issue in a Commons debate on the UK's response to the alleged use of chemical weapons in Syria.

He called on MPs to "steer government ministers to ask the right questions of their advisors" ahead of any action.
