Miliband 'not backing down' over union changes

The Labour leader, Ed Miliband, has said that he is not backing down over changes to his party's relationship with the trade unions.

Mr Miliband proposed changes after allegations the Unite union had tried to rig the selection of Labour's election candidate in Falkirk.

An internal report has since cleared the union.

Mr Miliband was asked if he would change his mind about the reforms if they were to bankrupt the Labour Party in the process.
