Russia gay laws debate: Callow, Hoban and Leslie

Russian laws mean gay people are no longer protected, and legislation "basically regards them as non-citizens" said the actor Simon Callow.

He was debating the calls for a boycott of the Sochi Olympics in 2014 - or moving them to a different country - with Conservative MP Mark Hoban and Labour MP Chris Leslie..

The panel first watched Mr Callow's personal film. where he questioned the point of a boycott, and they spoke about a posthumous pardoning, or knighthood, for Alan Turing who worked on code cracking at Bletchley Park in World War ll.
