Miliband: 'Raise wages, cut benefits bill'

Labour will promise a tax rebate for firms who pay their staff the so-called living wage, which is £8.55 an hour in London, and £7.45 elsewhere.

Ed Miliband said the plan will save the government money, because many low-paid workers currently claim benefits.
