Miliband delivers NY message of 'hope'

The leader of the Labour party has released a message to voters in the UK ahead of the start of 2014.

As part of his new year's broadcast, Ed Miliband said that he wanted to tip the balance towards hope and away from the struggles that people were facing.

"We are in the midst of the biggest cost of living crisis in a generation," he explained.
