MP Dennis Skinner voices anger at pit closure plans

Labour MP Dennis Skinner has voiced his anger at the treatment of miners in the UK after it was announced that two deep pits are to close in 2015 with the loss of 1,300 jobs.

UK Coal plans to close the pits at Kellingley, North Yorkshire, and Thoresby, Nottinghamshire, and has been loaned £10m by to government to help complete the "managed closure".
