Greens are 'doing the work in Europe' says party leader

Natalie Bennett, the leader of the Greens, told Andrew Marr her party is doing the work in Europe, not "just being anti-Europe".

Acknowledging the Green Party as the "anti-UKIP" party, Ms. Bennett said the Greens are the party for "hope for a better society" whereas UKIP is "the party of fear."

Speaking ahead of the European parliamentary elections on the 22nd of May, Ms. Bennett said the European Union needs to become more democratic and work for the interests of its people rather than big multinational companies.
