European elections: 4 Freedoms Party on EPP allies
The top priority for the 4 Freedoms Party (UK EPP) was to "create a new Europe", said its leader ahead of the 22 May European elections.
Dirk Hazell said voters knew the UK Conservatives had left the European Peoples Party (EPP) grouping at Brussels, which his party would join if its candidates were elected in London, the only constituency it is contesting.
He said London was "basically a relatively pro-European city, so it's not traditionally been a UKIP type of city".
Mr Hazell debated the politics of the 4 Freedoms Party, and its EPP allies, with Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn and pro-European businessman and peer Lord (Digby) Jones.
