Northern Ireland campaign for local and European seats

Northern Ireland voters can go to the polls to choose three MEPs and more than 400 councillors for new authorities on Thursday.

Unionists and nationalists have different views on EU membership and migration, but the legacy of The Troubles, and the arrest of a high-profile politician, has also had a role in the campaign.

In a Daily Politics film, Northern Ireland political editor Mark Devenport looked at why its campaigns were "'radically different" to the rest of the UK.
