Punk veteran John Lydon kisses Andrew Neil on TV

Presenter Andrew Neil had unexpected help from John Lydon as he signed off at the end of the live BBC1 programme This Week.

First offered a kiss, Johnny Rotten then helped read the autocue, with jokes about Nicola Sturgeon and Alan Johnson, ahead of the credits on the weekly political review.

The former Sex Pistol and Public Image Limited singer had been a guest talking about anger.
