Autumn Statement: Osborne announces 'diverted profits' tax on businesses
Big multinational businesses will be made to "pay their fair share" of taxes, George Osborn has said in his Autumn Statement.
The chancellor announced a 25% 'diverted profits' tax on profits generated by multinational corporations within the UK which are then "artificially shifted" outside in order to pay lower tax.
Changes for tax rules for banks were also unveiled.
