'Next government would inherit £80bn of borrowing'

The shadow chief secretary to the Treasury, Chris Leslie, has said whoever wins the election would inherit around £80bn worth of borrowing, and a different approach to the economy was needed.

A Conservative Party spokesman said Labour would put the economy at risk.
