HSBC: Political row over Swiss accounts

The BBC has identified a number of leading politicians, both Conservative and Labour, who have held Swiss bank accounts with HSBC, and donated money to the major political parties.

The accounts are not illegal, and there is no evidence those who held them avoided tax, but the revelations have provoked heated exchanges at Prime Minister's Questions.
