Lib Dems call for corporate tax evasion penalties
Companies that help clients evade tax should face the same penalties as the evaders themselves, according to the Liberal Democrat's Danny Alexander.
The Chief Secretary to the Treasury's comments follow claims of tax-dodging at HSBC.
Mr Alexander told the BBC's Andrew Marr Show: "Just like someone who helps a pick-pocket pick your pocket is committing a crime, so someone who's facilitating evasion is also doing the same."
