Green peer defends Bennett over "mind blank" interview

The Leader of the Green Party has apologised after seemingly being unable to answer key questions at the launch of the party's General Election campaign.

Natalie Bennett says she had an "excruciating mind blank" during a radio interview after stumbling over the details of their housing policy.

Baroness Jenny Jones - a Green party peer - said that Ms Bennett was not well, and that the party's manifesto details had not been finalised.
