Nigel Farage denies U-turn over migration

The UKIP leader Nigel Farage has denied that he has made a U-turn on the party's key policy on immigration.

UKIP had said it was committed to seeking to cap the number of migrants coming here to work to 50,000 a year.

On Wednesday, Mr Farage refused to be drawn on any figure - prompting comments that the policy was confused.

The BBC's political correspondent Vicki Young reports.
