Election 2015: Cameron rules out running for third term
David Cameron has ruled out running in a third election to be prime minister, as he bids to take on the top job in a second Parliament.
But the Tory leader said he was "standing for a full second term" from 7 May, as the job was "half done".
He said the party had "plenty of talent there" as he spoke of Theresa May, George Osborne or Boris Johnson as potential successors.
Mr Cameron told the BBC's James Landale that standing at the following general election, set for 2020, was "not something I am contemplating."
