Nigel Farage: 'I will continue as UKIP leader'

UKIP leader Nigel Farage has told the BBC's Question Time that he does not support a leadership election and that he is standing by his decision to continue as UKIP leader.

He said that the level of support for him in the party was "phenomenal".

Mr Farage stood down after failing to win the South Thanet seat in the general election, but was reinstated three days later when the party refused to accept his resignation.
