Scottish Labour's Jim Murphy announces plan to resign

Jim Murphy has said he will stand down as the leader of Scottish Labour after he has prepared and submitted a report to the party's national executive in June.

Speaking in Glasgow he said he wanted to deliver a "plan for earning back the trust of Scottish voters" and "reshaping the Scottish Labour Party".
