Nicola Sturgeon speech on economy and spending cuts

Scottish Minister Nicola Sturgeon has attacked the "scale and speed" of spending cuts planned by the UK government, a day before the opening of Parliament.

The Scottish First Minister and SNP leader also emphasised her party's support for Britain's continued membership of the European Union, saying that although it needed reform it was in Scotland's interests to be a member.
