Fifa is 'corrupt' John Whittingdale tells MPs
The Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport has said reform is "urgently needed" at the top of football's governing body following the arrests of several senior Fifa executives on corruption charges.
In a House of Commons statement, John Whittingdale told MPs that Fifa was ''a deeply flawed and corrupt organisation''.
"A change in leadership of Fifa is very badly needed,'' he said.
