Farron: Right to govern with Tories
The two contenders for the leadership of the Liberal Democrats have been putting their case for the top job to a studio audience on the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme.
North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb and the MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale Tim Farron, are competing to replace Nick Clegg after the party's poor result at the May general election.
Mr Lamb told the programme the party had done the right thing by forming a coalition with the Conservatives in 2010, even if it had proved costly at the ballot box.
