PMQs: Cameron and Harman on tax credits and pay levels

Harriet Harman accused the government of taking money from working families by cutting tax credits, and quoted David Cameron's words about "robbing from our children".

She quoted an IFS statistic about an average family losing £1,400 a year, as she told Mr Cameron: "I know he does not have to budget but many families do."

David Cameron said his programme would see more people in work with better pay and cutting their taxes, but the opposition leader told him: "You don't get higher pay by cutting tax credits."
