PMQs: Cameron vs Harman on unions
On the government's trade union reforms, Harriet Harman sought a guarantee from the prime minister that changes to the "political levy" will not be pursued without cross-party support.
David Cameron responded by saying: "The Labour Party always comes back to the trade unions." Defending the government's position, he said he thought it was based on a simple principle - if you want to give money to a party it should be "an act of free will".
But Ms Harman contended that it appears to be "one rule" for Labour and a different rule for the Tories and their "hedge-fund" backers. She said the government wants to attack workers' rights - and accused the PM of acting in the interests of party rather than country.
