Liz Kendall: 'Unbelievable' to be questioned on weight

Labour leadership candidate Liz Kendall said it is "unbelievable" she was asked a question about her weight in the Mail on Sunday.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 live's Pienaar's Politics show, she said she "cannot wait for a world where women are judged the same as men".

She thought it was unthinkable that the same question would be put to the prime minister or chancellor.

In fact the same Mail on Sunday journalist asked George Osborne about his weight in an interview in 2014.
