Labour's John McDonnell: 'Back to broad church cabinet'

Jeremy Corbyn's campaign manager John McDonnell has been named as shadow chancellor.

He spoke to BBC on Sunday about the traditions of choosing cabinet members.

"It is going back to some of the traditions of the Labour party, if you look over the past PMs their cabinets were always broad church," he said, referring to the wide range of views on key issues within the party.
