Labour frontbencher says Corbyn should have sung anthem
Jeremy Corbyn has been criticised by a newly-appointed member of his own front bench for not singing the national anthem at a service to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
Kate Green, shadow minister for women and equalities, told the Today programme that Mr Corbyn's decision to stay silent will have offended and hurt people.
It would have been "appropriate, and right, and respectful of people's feelings" to have sung the anthem, she told presenter Mishal Hussein.
