David Cameron: UK 'can't dodge forever' air strikes question

The UK "cannot dodge forever" the question of air strikes in Syria to defeat the so-called Islamic State group, David Cameron told the House of Commons.

He was responding to Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who said it was vital to cut off the extremist group's funding, arms supply and its trade.

While Mr Cameron agreed it was important, he cautioned not to make that "a substitute for the action that's required to beat these people where they are".
