Boris Johnson accused of hypocrisy over leaked staff email

Boris Johnson has been accused of hypocrisy after an email leaked to the BBC revealed his office had warned his officials not to contradict him and speak out in favour of staying in the EU.

Mr Johnson described the email as a 'cock up ' but the rules remain in place, despite his calls for an open debate on the issue.
