Inheritance tax: Has David Cameron done anything wrong?

Details of David Cameron's income and tax payments for the past six years have been released, in an effort to defuse the controversy about his finances.

Questions are now being asked about a £200,000 gift from Mr Cameron's mother, which could allow him to legally reduce his inheritance tax liabilities.

Tax specialist Robert Levy says that the details revealed by Mr Cameron appear to show that he has acted in accordance with the law.
