Nick Gibb explains how Sats test were placed online

Nick Gibb tells MPs how the questions from a Key Stage 2 English tests test were mistakenly placed on the internet.

The minister said the information should not have been online, but the only people with access to it were "contracted markers, all of whom are under an contractual obligation not share sensitive information".

Mr Gibb said 93 markers accessed the material during the few hours it was online on Monday evening, and one person leaked the information to a journalist, who did not publish the information.
